Apple Pizza Bites

Looking for a delicious, healthy, fun, and kid-friendly snack? Packed with nutrients, these Pizza Apple Bites are fun to make and serve. You can use nut butter, peanut butter, or sunflower seed butter.

Apple-pizza-bites

 1 apple
 ¼ cup prepared chocolate nut butter (or any nut or seed butter of your choice)
 3 tablespoons nuts and seeds of your choice.
 ¼ cup dark chocolate, melted

Using an apple corer, remove the apple core and seeds.

Cut apple into 1/2-inch slices.

Apply the nut or seed butter to the apple slices.

Add nuts, seeds and berries of your choice.

Melt the dark chocolate using a microwave or a double boiler for approximately one minute or until completely melted. Be careful it doesn't burn; for microwave, stir every 20 to 30 seconds

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the slices and enjoy!
