Our adaptation of Mexico’s most popular and versatile avocado dish can be savored as a dip, in a salad, or as a topping for tacos and tostadas.
Scoop avocado flesh into a medium bowl and mash.
Add scallions, tomato, 1 clove garlic, cilantro or parsley, jalapeño pepper, and lime juice. Mix well.
Season with salt pepper. Taste. Add another garlic clove and more lime juice, if desired.
Serve with corn chips or fresh vegetables.
