Russian Dressing

A perfect accompaniment for a Reuban sandwich or poured over a vegetable salad. Sweet and tangy, it can become a vegan Thousand Island Dressing with a couple of modifications.


 1 cup eggless mayonnaise
 ¼ cup bottled chili sauce
 1 tablespoon dill relish
 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
 1 tablespoon minced fresh onion

Stir ingredients together. Chill and serve.

Makes 1ΒΌ cup
Serves 10

Originally created to be a sauce on a sandwich, it also makes a delicious salad dressing. Simply thin with plant-based milk (unflavored and unsweetened) to your desired consistency.

Should you want the taste of Thousand Island dressing, replace the dill relish with sweet pickle relish and delete the lemon juice.
