Ingredients
4 large sweet potatoes
3 Gala apples (or any sweet baking apple)
¼ teaspoon Himalayan salt
8 Medjool dates (soaked and chopped)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon allspice
½ teaspoon ginger

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Steam or bake sweet potatoes until tender. Cool, peel, and mash in a large mixing bowl.

Peel and quarter apples. Steam until soft. Mash, add to potatoes. Mix in salt, dates, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger. Stir until smooth.

Place mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes.
