Taco Chips

Kids love to help out in the kitchen. This is an easy snack idea for them to assemble with Mom’s help. Set out your toppings, a bowl of beans, and a bag of chips and they are ready to create!

Taco-chips--wb

 2 cups (or more) refried beans, either canned or homemade
 1 bag of tortillas chips
 2 cups (or more) cheese, plant-based or dairy
Optional Garnishes
 Diced tomatoes
 Sliced scallions
 Sliced black olives
 Diced red peppers
 Sliced jalapeños
 Sour cream, or dairy
 Guacamole

Warm refried beans. Place in a bowl.

Open a bag of tortillas chips and place in a bowl.

Set out the cheese and garnishes.

Assemble the snack by spreading beans on each chip. Set on individual plates or a platter. Top as desired with the suggested garnishes and serve.
