An easy-to-make, delicious sauce to serve over cakes, pancakes, or waffles.

Sauce Ingredients
 2 tablespoons cornstarch
 2 cups water
  cup maple syrup
 ¼ cup plant-based butter
 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Place the cornstarch in a small saucepan.

Whisk in the maple syrup and water.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook for 1 minute or until slightly thickened.

Remove from the heat and stir in butter and vanilla.

Makes about 3 cups
Serves 16

Serve warm over
