Veggie Fest 2025 – Terms & Conditions

Veggie Fest has the following terms and conditions that apply to anyone attending Veggie Fest 2025, an event with many great vegetarian food booths, activities, music, community service and other booths for your and family‘s enjoyment. These terms and conditions apply to  you, your children and guests for the event.

 

Event Dates & Admission

Veggie Fest 2025 will take place on August 9th and 10th.

 

Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of a members’ or volunteer’s gross negligence or willful misconduct, by attending Veggie Fest, you voluntarily assume all risks for you, your children and guests associated with attendance, driving to and form and parking as well as event activities, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or illness (including COVID-19)
  • Property loss or damage
  • Risks arising from food consumption, crowd interaction, and event activities
  • Problems or disputes with or conduct of a non-SOS vendor or other attendees.

Veggie Fest and its affiliates are not liable for any such incidents,

You also release and discharge SOS, its members, volunteers, the event organizers, and sponsors,  from any and all claims, demands, actions, and liabilities arising from or related to your attendance of Vege Fest.

 

Food Allergies Disclaimer

All food and beverage items sold at Veggie Fest are strictly vegetarian or vegan. Many offerings are clearly labeled with dietary tags such as “vegan” and “gluten-free.”

However, if you have food allergies or intolerances:

  • Please ask the food booth volunteers directly about ingredients before purchasing.
  • Be aware that while efforts are made to prevent cross-contamination, it may still occur at the facility level.
  • If you have serious food allergies, you consume food at your own risk.

Your safety is important to us, and we encourage open communication with the food team at the event.

 

Photography, Video, and Media Recording

By entering the event premises, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used for promotional purposes, social media, websites, and advertising without compensation or further approval.

You waive:

  • Any right to payment or royalties
  • The right to inspect or approve materials
  • Any claims for privacy or publicity rights

If you do not consent, please do not enter the event grounds.

 

Use of Contact Information

By purchasing a ticket or signing up for updates, you authorize Veggie Fest and its organizers to use your email address and/or phone number to:

  • Share important event updates and reminders
  • Send promotional messages about future events
  • Maintain contact for event-related matters

You may unsubscribe at any time via provided methods (e.g., “STOP” by SMS, unsubscribe links in emails).

 

Conduct and Entry Conditions

  • Prohibited items include: alcohol, drugs, weapons, and hazardous materials.
  • Admission may be denied or revoked without refund for unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant behavior.
  • Behavior should be appropriate for a public place and must not jeopardize your safety or the safety of others at the event.
  • You and your belongings may be searched before entry. Refusal may result in denied access.
  • You must comply with posted rules or guidelines as well as any instructions and directions of security personnel and SOS volunteers.

 

Pets Policy

  • No pets are allowed on the festival grounds except for service animals.
  • If you bring a service animal, you must have valid certification for the animal.
  • Service animals must be under control and behave appropriately at all times.

 

No Smoking Policy

  • Veggie Fest grounds are a no smoking zone.
  • Smoking of cigarettes, cigars, vaping, e-cigarettes, or any other smoking devices is strictly prohibited anywhere on the festival grounds.
  • Violation of this policy may result in removal from the event without refund.

 

Confirmation and Ticket Issues

Ticket orders are confirmed via email with a downloadable e-ticket. If you don’t receive confirmation or your ticket, contact tickets@veggiefestchicago.org before the event. We are not responsible for issues that aren’t reported in advance.

 

Changes to Terms 

Veggie Fest reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time upon online and/or posted notice. Event schedules and details are subject to change.

Veggie Fest has the following terms and conditions that apply to anyone purchasing tickets for or attending Veggie Fest 2025, an event with many great vegetarian food booths, activities, music, community service and other booths for your and family‘s enjoyment. These terms and conditions apply to  you, your children and guests for the event.

 

Event Dates & Admission

Veggie Fest 2025 will take place on August 9th and 10th.

  • Each entry ticket is $10 USD per person, per day.
  • Children 12 years and younger are allowed free entry when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

 

Ticket Use, Entry, and Re-entry Policy

  • Tickets may be purchased online in advance or as physical tickets at the event grounds on the day of the event, subject to availability.
  • Each ticket (digital or physical) is valid for single-day, single-entry use only on the specified event date.
  • Tickets include a unique QR code (for digital tickets) or designated entry validation (for physical tickets) that must be presented at the gate for admission.
  • Once scanned or validated, the ticket is considered used and cannot be reused for re-entry.
  • If you need to leave the festival and return later the same day, you must speak with a volunteer at the gate before exiting to receive a re-entry pass or stamp. No re-entry will be allowed without it.
  • Lost, damaged, or duplicated QR codes or physical tickets will not be honored. Keep your ticket safe.

Refunds and Ticket Policy

  • All ticket sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be granted under normal circumstances.
  • If Veggie Fest 2025 is canceled by the organizers and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund.
  • If the event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will automatically be valid for the new dates.
