1 -2 cups fresh cilantro or parsley, roughly chopped
1 ½ cups fresh basil or arugula
2 tablespoons raw unsalted pine nuts or walnuts
1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 heaping teaspoon white miso
1/2 large avocado, cubed
Place all the ingredients in a food processor. Blend.
Scrape the sides down as necessary, and pulse until the pesto becomes creamy. Add 1 tablespoon of water if needed.
