Lisle, IL: Great news!! Veggie Fest Chicago, one of the largest and most celebrated vegetarian food and wellness festivals in North America is back, bigger, and better than ever! The festival will be held on August 10 and 11, 2024 at Danada South Park at Navistar Cir., Lisle, IL 60532. It will be open both days from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Admission and parking are both free.
Fan of ethnic food? You’ll appreciate the variety of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Mexican entrées. For lighter fare, swing by the organic salad booth, try a fruit smoothie, or grab a fresh fruit and vegetable juice to quench your thirst. Veggie Fest is a foodie festival for everyone! Volunteers from around the world personally prepare and cook all the dishes. Home cooked – Good food and healthy living. If you’re new to vegetarian food, you’ll say, “Wow, I didn’t know veg food could taste so good!”
Now in its 14th year, this family-fun festival has something for everyone! In 2019, over 50,000 people attended the two-day event. They enjoyed delicious food at the international food court, live music from some of the best bands in the Chicagoland area, vegetarian food demonstrations from chefs around the country, internationally recognized expert speakers on the health benefits of a plant-based diet, an interactive children’s tent, yoga and meditation tents, and 100+ healthy living vendors. Veggie Fest Chicago is a non-profit festival supported by over 1,000 volunteers from more than 20 countries.
Veggie Fest Chicago has become one of the most highly anticipated summer festivals in the area, and The Chicago Tribune said it’s one of the best run festivals in Chicagoland.
