Elderberry-Hibiscus Iced Tea
Elderberries contain anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants, along with vitamins A and C, calcium, magnesium, iron, niacin, and potassium. Enjoy this potent combination of elderberry and hibiscus in a cool iced tea. The beautiful color and tangy flavor can be sipped throughout the day or served at a luncheon. Your guests will be happy to know that they’re being served a vitamin-rich and delicious tonic.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
1 tablespoon dried black elderberries (sambucus nigra)
Pinch lavender flowers
16 ounces boiling water
Raw honey or sweetener of choice to taste
Instructions

Place hibiscus flowers, elderberries, and lavender in quart-size mason jar. Add boiling water. Cover and steep 10 to 15 minutes. Strain and allow to cool.

Sweeten with honey or sweetener of choice.

Serve cold over ice, garnished with lemon or lime slices.
